hehe .. sorry .. silly me ... I actually looked for a bootstrap, but didn't see 
it ... silly me ;P

all sorted ... I run gentoo .. so I did a ebuild for testing ... 
removed the patch for 1.0.6 and compiled which segemented.

trying again with patch to see if it fixes it .. will report back ASAP
