Good point, I wasn't.  Even after doing that I still get linker errors
(see below).  When I don't include msvcprt.lib or msvcrt.lib then I
get a ton of errors in ilmimf.lib about std functions not being
declared.  Yet I can get the imfexamples to build and run correctly. 
This is happening when I create a new project.
