My first job was programming binary load lifters... Very similar to your vaporators. Also, Bocce is like a second language for me.

UTF8 encoding is every bit as expressive as UTF16 or UTF32. It is not a
fixed word length encoding. It dynamically expands it's "word
size" (per character) so that it can cover the entire UNICODE space.
