Using OpenEXR 1.6.1, I've had errors where the last few scanlines or tiles don't seem to make it to the file I'm writing. No exceptions, no crash, no error messages. The program ends normally. But the tiles or scanlines just aren't there, as revealed by errors when subsequently reading the files.

This ONLY happens when the image (or maybe just whole scanlines or tiles?) is a solid color, and ONLY when using compression (I've only seen it with zip, but a user says it can happen with piz.) It doesn't botch all scanlines/tiles that are constant, just the last one or few of the file, even when the whole image is a solid color. And it doesn't seem to happen for certain resolutions or tile sizes. But when it does happen, it happens consistently.

Anybody else seen this?

Not here, but do you happen to have a compilation of resolutions that look suspect? ...
