hi,

well, jackd can't be used with a hw interface, but it can be used
through the plughw layer (with bad latency). However, when jackd is
running, the logs constantly are spamed with the same hw_pointer
messages that happen while using xmms.

Dec 22 06:36:04 dbz kernel: ALSA ../alsa-kernel/core/pcm_lib.c:182:
Unexpected h
w_pointer value (stream = 0, delta: -631, max jitter = 1024): wrong
interrupt ac
knowledge?

etc., except with jack it happens 50 times a second instead of every few
seconds with playing a stream in xmms. Has anyone investigated into the
source of this issue? I'm using ALSA 0.9.8 on 2.4.23 with a SQ2500.
