[Pan-users] Pan 0.11.92 - AA bug

I am using Pan 0.11.92 on Mandrake 8.2.  I have $GDK_USE_XFT set to 3D1
(using gtk+2.0.2).

When I go to set any fonts, Pan exits with this error:

** ERROR **: file pangoxft-font.c: line 738 (pango_xft_font_get_font):
assertion failed: (charmap != face->num_charmaps)
aborting...
Aborted

If I start pan without AA enabled, I can change the fonts no problem. 
When I go back in having enabled AA again, I get the changed fonts. 
Anyone experienced this behaviour?  Should I report it as a bug?
