I tried just updating to the newest gdk-pixbuf, but that didn't solve the
problem. Next, I removed all the crap I installed and _very_ carefully
checked out the old .specs in the src packages and built all new gtk2
packages in the _correct_ order this time. After rebuilding Pan,
everything works correctly!
Apparently I just went up a belt in RPM-building kung-fu! :)
