My attempts to build Pan from CVS fail with an error from autogen.sh,
it seems that the gnome2-macros.sh script from gnome-common explicitly
looks for automake 1.4 whereas I have automake 1.7 to allow me to build
other CVS stuff. The error says I don't have automake installed at all!
Is there anything that Pan can do to help with this or is it a gnome
bug that I need to report? I'm using a Ximian RPM of gnome-common.
