Hi everyone.
I've just upgraded to 0.13.90 (gosh, didn't I half have to upgrade
my box before I could build that SuSE 8.1 rpm!) and I've now got a
question regarding scoring that I couldn't find asnwered in the
archive:
I would like to score according to which newsgroup(s) an article has
been posted to. I looked at slrn scoring and tried to edit my Pan
scoring file accordingly - to no avail. I would have thought that
the entry should be something along the lines of
[^alt\.foo\.bar$]
Score: -1234
Newsgroup: la.di.dah
I've tried & I've fiddled, but all that happens is that every single
article gets scored, regardless of where it's been (cross)posted
to.
Any pointers to where I'm going wrong? Or does Pan not accept any
scoring other than the 4 criteria (Subject:, Author:, References:
and Lines:) that we can set in the GUI?
If we want to get rid of the bozo/spam filter, we'll need this kind
of filtering for the crossposting, won't we?
Thanks for your help,
T.
