[Pan-users] Question on "signature" file

Hello,

I've just recently noticed that, when posting or replying via email, Pan
doesn't append the selected "signature" file, specified in the posting
profile.

I've been using Pan for about three years now, and I don't recall if it
ever did (as I just read, mostly), or if it did, when it stopped doing
it.

I've also noticed that I can't control the number of tasks Pan spawns,
as I could in earlier versions.

I'm running version 0.14.2 (compiled tarball) on Linux kernel 2.14.18-3
(RedHat 7.3) on a PII-350 w/512Meg Ram. I've KDE 3 and Ximian's Desktop
2 installed also. I have all the RH 7.3 updates installed, but I don't
use the new kernel, 2.4.20-20.7,  because I can't get it to network or
use my SCSI hardware properly.

Anyone have any thoughts on what I need to tweak or where I've messed
something up?
