I don't do anything but en_US, but from what I understand...
1) You need the aspell libs and dictionaries for the languages you intend to
use.
2) To switch between them is then a matter of setting and exporting the
appropriate l10n (localization) environmental vars and then restarting PAN. As
I said, I don't know much about it, but I believe it's the $LANG, $LANGUAGE,
and/or $LINGUAS vars.

Duncan (who's now using the blog.gmane and post.gmane web interfaces, as
someone from his ph.ph.cox.net domain block apparently abused the gmane NNTP
