Hmm...  Not much of an idea, but if it's happening before you download or
post anything, it's probably getting it either off a post in the cache, or
off the list of headers it's keeping for whatever group it's loading.

I'm wondering if someone posted with an incorrectly formed From: header,
and that's what it's complaining about.  If it's a regular (obviously
someone posting with an adelphia.net address) in one of your regular
groups, such that you'll almost always have at least one post from him
listed for PAN to complain about, that would explain why you keep getting
the error.  Assuming I'm not following the same group would explain why
I've never seen it.
