Do you mean filter as in score (where it's already regex, behind the
scenes) or filter as in that little text box search widget?
If you mean the search widget, I don't believe it'd be that difficult, as
the necessary libraries are already loaded for dealing with the scoring
regexs. I'd guess the reason Charles didn't handle it that was was
again, the complexity thing. I think it'd be nice to have it an option
in preferences or whatever, tho, or even settable only in the config
files, as a number of "advanced" settings already are, in ordered to keep
the config dialogs simpler.
