You can't force an automated expire for a single group, as that's set per
server (which doesn't make a lot of sense when the group may show up on
multiple servers, and when a particular post expires might then depend on
which server pan happened to see it on first, but that's beside the
point).
However, you can simply delete posts, thus doing effectively the same
thing. To do this based on time, as with expiration, unthread, sort by
date, select all the oldest posts up to the date you want to keep, then
delete.
