The only other changes is to remove pcre and update to intltool 35.5. 
Pan was updated to use regex from GLib.  Here is a list of patches that
haven't been accepted yet:
security (executable bit)
gmime 2.4
editor doesn't block
memory utilization
line wrap with multi-byte spaces present
newsrc coruption
mid coruption with really long multi-parts
console support on windows
