Hi guys!

Yes, F3 series is based on cm4 architecture, but there are some differencies from F1. And first of all the clocking - STM32F4 produce much less noise in GPS band than STM32F1.
So it suit the UAV uses much better.

Regarding the STM board - it's probably pretty useful for study purposes, I've had an experience with the L3G gyro, it's much simpler than Invesense sensors, hovever I had a couple of successful autonomous flights with this sensor on my small Merlin on board.

I'm currently doing a port on my Krooz board with STM32F4 on it, there are currently peripheral, I2C, PPM working. ADC and SPI are under construction. I've also done a first version of DFU bootloader for the STM32F4 and stm32_mem, however it's not 100% stable yet. But it works. BTW, the native STM Flash Loader Demonstrator is also NOT 100% stable with this controller, so there could be some problems with the custom bootloader too.

It would also be nice to use the hardware FPU on STM32F4. However, as I understand, the libgcc libraries are currently compiled with use of soft float. Is it really so, or there is a directory with the VFP libraries under paparazzi?

Regards,
Sergey
