We did quite a lot of side-by-side testing of different uBlox modules;
generation 6, no SBAS coverage, fixed wing. Found NEO6Q and NEO6T equal best on
ceramic patch antennas, no filter/amp and decent sized ground plane.
Equivalent-spec modules in the MAX form-factor did not perform as well in
testing (inferior timers?). LEA modules (flash-backed) ran slightly slower than
the NEO equivalents (ROM-backed), i.e. 5Hz OK on NEO6x, but only 4hz on LEA6x.

Hi,
I mostly use the Navilock NL-652 ETTL (ublox6) and also have some lea4 and 5
lying around.
Haven't tried any of the more recent ublox, so I can't tell if they are
better.
Newer ones should get more accuracy with appropriate configuration. I
haven't managed to figure out how to get hold of one, though.
Cheers, Felix

Hi,
Is this gps currently supported in any way?
Which is currently the most practical gps for a copter?
I used previously only on plane lea4 and 5
