Where can I download the latest version of oSIP2?
The latest that I can find from the oSIP site seems
to be osip 0.9.7 which is not oSIP2 as far as
I understand.

Big announcement today!

After several week of headache, osip2 is ready to
be used.

To avoid rewritting, here is some info from the NEWS file:

        oSIP is becoming oSIP2. In fact, this new version is very close
        to the previous one but the API has been completely renamed in
        order to be more consistent. Source and include files have also
        been renamed to be more consistent and make oSIP more readable.

As the architecture has not been changed, it's quite easy to
port your applications to new version. <address@hidden> who
helped me to renamed the API has provided an helpfull python
script to update applications from the old osip (0.9.7) to
the new actual version (1.99.7)

Of course, the script is not enough. A few method have different
prototypes (callback, and one thread method) which prevent the
script from being enough. There are also many deallocation (osip_free())
calls that are not needed any more.

The following HOWTO will tell you all you need to know to port
your application  easily! Following this guidelines, it should
not take more than a day to port a large application!

partysip is already ported and need minor modifications
before being included in the CVS. It should be available
tomorrow.
