   Have you considered to use some of the code available from PDFlib GmbH?

Would be quite useful to use some parts of that library (I am thinking
in the font support and some parts in the pdcore/ directory).

The first step is to decide about the compatibility of the license in
http://www.pdflib.com/fileadmin/pdflib/pdf/license/PDFlib-Lite-license.pdf

If it is compatible with GPLv3 then we will examine which parts would
be useful to incorporate into libgnupdf.
