Well, that particular form you posted isn't an AcroForm-based PDF - it's
an XFA-based PDF. So Poppler and other tools that are rendering the
AcroForms of that document aren't actually rendering the correct form -
they are rendering a "static mirror" of the proper form.
If you'd like some actual AcroForm samples with JavaScript, I will be
more than glad to provide.
However, supporting JavaScript in PDF is a MAJOR project for many
reasons.

poppler rendering of a particular file
(http://undergradresearch.fsu.edu/Gfx/summer_award.pdf) which makes use
of
javascript.
While the poppler project is still think about it, I hope this example
is also
useful to the gnupdf project, as a basis for considering how you will
handle
this type of file.
