Hi Daniel.
I was making new tests for i64 functions and found a couple of errors
in the i64 functions regarding the processing of the result when it is
a negative number. The following patch includes the fix and the new
tests. Also added them in gnupdf-tsd.texi and included the new i64
interfaces in gnupdf.texi. Changed or added files are:

in the trunk.
Aleks, does this patch solves your concerns about the usage of the
64bit types in the time module?
