The existing ASCII85 encoding and decoding filters implementation should be 
adapted to use the new
interfaces and architecture described in 
http://www.gnupdf.org/Lib:Architecture/Base_Layer/Stream_Module

The source files containing the current implementation are pdf-stm-f-a85.[ch]

Update: 2009-Nov-21 :Encode and Decode written. Testing to begin shortly
