tags 292021 + upstream confirmed forwarded 292021 address@hidden thank you, wonderful Debian BTS! Hi, I received this report today and could verify it ... I've never noted it because the default size fits my needs perfectly, but for users with different desktops, this is a really ugly problem. Please keep the bugs.d.o address in the CC when answering, thanks. Marc
--- Begin Message ---Subject: Bug#292021: perlpanel: panel size configuration broken Date: Mon, 24 Jan 2005 17:29:37 +0100 Package: perlpanel Version: 0.9.0-2 Severity: normal Hi there! The default configuration of perlpanel started with a size set to 24 (<panel size="24" .../> in .perlpanelrc), but the panel was 32 pixel deep. There was no way to change the (effective) size of the panel to something smaller. At one point the panel was deep enough so that the tasklist switched into a two-row-mode, in which it stayed even when I set the panel size back to 24, using 52 pixel instead. This behaviour is really broken, please fix it! greetings, Uli
