=================== BUG #3920: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT ===================
Submitted by: None Project: phpGroupWare
Submitted on: Tue 06/10/03 at 03:25
Category: calendar Bug Group: 0.9.14.003 release
Severity: 5 - Major Priority: Low
Resolution: Works for me Assigned to: skeeter
Status: Open Component Version: BZIP2
Platform Version: Linux - RedHat Reproducibility: Every Time
Summary: Time out on calendar view for "today"
Original Submission: Hi.
If the calendar preference "Work day starts on" is set to 0:00 and the "Work
day ends on" is set to anything greater, the users will get a time out error on
the calendar view for "today" (in fact, daily's view). The error message is:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in
/var/www/html/phpgroupware/phpgwapi/inc/class.Template.inc.php on line 185
Regards.

Setting a "reasonable" work day fix it. However, as some users may not be
"reasonable", I reported the bug to let you know about it.

Calendar is a complex app, I would suggest that you change your php.ini to have
max_execution_time = 90 (i forget the exact name)
Also why not set the work day to something reasonable - like 0800-1800?
Let us know if either of these sugegstions fix the problem.
