Hi Marc Williams,
I can help you with your first problem. The problem is the colors in the
themes directory is defined without a leading hash (#) and some browsers
don't like that. The black background appears on my Mozilla, but not
when I use IE (I didn't check Netscape). I uploaded a patch for the
PHPGW developers, you can use download the patch here:
http://savannah.gnu.org/patch/?func=detailpatch&patch_id=113&group_id=509
You'll have to apply the patch in the phpgwapi/themes directory, like:
$ cd phpgwapi/themes
$ patch -p0 < themes.patch
I'm new at uploading patches, so I forgot to do the diff from the root
directory...
