This is exactly my experience too.  phpGW has caused me much frustration in 
the past.  I plan to help change that.  I'm glad to see you are too.

I've started another page at the axisgw wiki.

If you or anyone else remember problems they've had in the past, ideally with 
the actual error produced and the solution, please add it.  If you have other 
ideas for documents, the Axisgw wiki is open to everyone.  You can start a 
document there and when it's ready to be included in the phpgw documentation, 
it can be.  I'd link any phpgw specific documents off this page:

Dave also said something about some pages on the phpgw wiki are now being open 
to logged in users.  I haven't looked to see what has been done.
