Yes I see, I was unsure of what to do, and  because of an upgrade, I was
apprehensive to use the usual setup, but alas the dummy I am , I found the
setup config and saw where to point for the files, as you have shown I just
added the folders instead of the entire path.It shows up in the file manager
err phpwebhosting, but I am unable to create folders and or even see folders
that are the usual default and users folders. it sees nothing and will not
let me create a folder.
all the folders are 777 as well.
 Where did I go wrong? It was working before the upgrade, I am not even able
to open files that were previously there. Ideas on where to start would be
helpful to me,so I can  learn more of this system,
