Hi,I don't understand this: it still does not work at all. I think today I tried for the tenth time to upgrade from 0.9.14 to 0.9.16 (rc3 this time), and it is still completely non-functional for someone who has an existing database. Possibly it works for an empty one, but who cares.
After an upgrade a user cannot store preferences anymore. phpgw forgets the old preferences, and it is not even possible to enter them anew. I enter preferences, set the Template, e.g.to linux.at-work.de, hit the save button, the window changes to the good template (I hate the verdilak template, I hate icons because it takes me much more time to find preferences in icons than to find them in plain text), but in the preferences select box I see again "Use default", and the next time I go to a different app I have verdilak again! Why??
I filed this already 11/24/03 as bug #6739, and it is still open. This kind of surprises me. Do phpgw developpers expect that everyone cleans out their database when upgrading the versions?
Marcus
