That was it; the student informed me he was using a three letter
username?
Sorry for wasting your time?

How long are the user name and password? they have to be within the
range of 4 - 13 characters long with the phpTest defaults.

Subject: [Phptest-users] help
I have phptest running on a network server RedHat 8 at the School where
I am employed. It has worked now for about 4days. I have created a test
and added 9 students to the group that has rights to the test. Most of
my students have not had a problem using the test and everything seemed
to be working just fine until late today when I asked a new student to
add his name to the visitor account. It would not take it. I tried
logging on as the admin and could not add his account. Any ideas?
Donald
