Based on the url you gave us, the directory you have the phptest scripts is called "phptest1,"  while the error message
that appears when  I go to the url  is "unknown database 'phptest.'"  Did you, in fact, name your database "phptest"  or have 
you called it "phptest1?" The database name in your /include/config.inc.php file and the actual name of the database you've
created have to be identical.
