Summary:  XML writing should look more nicely

Original Submission:  The current XML dumping is done without carring much 
about the indention of the code, so it looks rather ugly in some situations. 
Since the writing is just dumping the code to an ofstream, it won't be that 
easy to fix that, maybe a 'prefix' parameter with the correct number of spaces 
would help. Or dumping to an XML-Tree directly.
