pingus bug: mouse doesn't focus correctly

I'm running redhat 7.3, glibc-2.2.4-13 with a Logitech mouse in 3-button
configuration.  Basically,  where I click,  the actual click seems to take
place about 4 inches over and 4 inches down,  so the offset is really off.

For example,  in the start screen if I click on a penguin sitting on top
of the PINGUS" letters,  that highlights "QUIT" for me.  Moving my mouse
down,  it highlights "PLAY".  I've attempted to change the screen resolution
but that didn't make a difference.

This was a binary download.  Any ideas?  I'm running X11R6 with Free-X86.
