Anyone experienced the same thing?

The above is as follows:

bedrock16 is a workstation on my LTSP 4.0 and I tried
to run Pingus 0.6.0. I use the compiled binary i.e. I
didn't compile from source. It works fine running as
root. I put the whole compiled binary package into
/usr/local/games directory. Please help me with this.  TIA.
