if I dont have the previous tarball, I cant generate a new one. check this out :
address@hidden head]$ make dist
make: *** No rule to make target `protux-0.16.0pre3.tar.gz', needed by
`distdir'. Stop.
so, when I make
touch protux-0.16.0pre3.tar.gz
even being a "fakE" tarball, then make dist works
