I see.  The reason that translationproject.org has marked them fuzzy, is that 
the msgid has been changed.
Notice that the .pot file 
http://translationproject.org/POT-files/pspp-0.8.2.1.pot  contains:

 #: src/ui/gui/autorecode.ui:92
 msgid "Variable -> New Name"

But in the de.po file somebody has changed the msgid substituing ">" with ">"
You mustn't do that.  


Similarly for the other messages that you mentioned.
