Hello to all,
I just installed pspp-0.4.0.1 (on Linux) and I am trying to get the
configuration right. I copied the "devices" file to /usr/local/lib/pspp;
this file contains the line:
list-ps:postscript::
Now when I try
>pspp --device=list-ps syntax1
I get millions of the following message:
installation error: PostScript driver: Cannot find encoding `text.enc'
for PostScript font `<<fallback>>'.
Any ideas?
Thank you very much

With this version of pspp, you need to have groff installed in order
to use the postscript driver. You need to set the
GROFF_FONT_PATH environment variable to the location of the postscript
font definition file. Eg:
export GROFF_FONT_PATH=/usr/share/groff/current/font/devps
Alternatively, if you use pspp 0.4.3 from CVS, you no longer need to
do this.
