Old and new problems when compiling pspp on cygwin

Hi

I tested the installation. on openSUSE 10.3, it compiles fine. 

Unfortunately, on cygwin I get the same error as in my previous message, I little research showed me the call in the make file should most likely be with "-lpng12" instead of  "-lpng". Copying /lib/libpng12.a to libpng.a and the same for libpng12.dll.a is a work around. Don't know if both are needed.

However, all of this didn't help me much. Now I have the error:

libtool: link: cannot find the library '/usr/lib/libgetaddrinfo.la' or unhandled argument '/usr/lib/libgetaddrinfo.la'

which is right. My whole cygwin installation doesn't contain this file.


Anybody an idea how to continue?
