Hi Wieland,

thanks for your „bug-report“ :-). I cc to the pspp-users mailing list. Maybe you could use the pspp mac bundle which can be installed like any other mac software. It does not require to install macports or an xserver:

http://www.hs-augsburg.de/~beckmanf/pspp-0.10.2.dmg

This bundle is build for El Capitan but there is some chance that the bundles works on some previous MacOS versions also. But it will only work in GUI mode.

Macport never worked out for my students (and for me either), so, as recommended on your website, I said, they must take a version before MacPort (for version 10.8 downwards). 

Now this does not work anymore. We can open the program, but when we want to open a file, the PSPP closes unexpectedly. 

Could you help me with this problem?
