Hi all
I started here
https://www.gnu.org/software/pspp/
(sorry, I got a period stuck on the link in my previous email.)
then clicked on download, to get to here
https://www.gnu.org/software/pspp/get.html
This page says
"You can install pspp on Windows 64 Bit via the pspp-1.5.3-g797d4c.exe installer."
I guess I don't quite follow. Is this a mirror site? What is the 'official' site? There are a couple of websites that list free to use stat software (and I'm updating the wiki page about free statistical software). Where should they point?
https://sites.google.com/site/gsocialchange/statsoft
https://statpages.info/javasta2.html
https://www.bettycjung.net/Statpgms.htm
Thanks
Gene

The download page is https://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/pspp/ and this most certainly
does have version 1.6 (scroll down to the bottom).
Perhaps you were looking at a mirror site? (some mirrors are a little slow
getting updated). So I suggest that you try a different mirror or use the
primary download site (above).

Hi all
I hope everyone is healthy!
The website of pspp
https://www.gnu.org/software/pspp/ says 1.6.0 has been released.
I went to the download page and got the version for windows. pspp-1.5.3-g797d4c.exe. This still seems to be the 1.5 version? At least when i installed it on my windows pc, and clicked on about, it said version 1.5.
Any plans for when the 1.6 version for windows to be released?
I know 1.6 is at the nightly untested builds.
Thanks
