From: PRASANTH R
Subject: [Qemu-arm] error in booting vexpress
Date: Wed, 21 Jun 2017 19:54:42 +0530

I can't boot the kernel, could anyone help me to resolve the issue?
is there any issue with the command passed?

$qemu-system-arm -M vexpress-a9 -dtb arch/arm/boot/dts/vexpress-v2p-ca9.dtb -kernel arch/arm/boot/zImage -hda disk.img -serial stdio --append "root=/dev/sda console=ttyAMA0,115200"

WARNING: Image format was not specified for 'disk.img' and probing guessed raw.
Automatically detecting the format is dangerous for raw images, write operations on block 0 will be restricted.
Specify the 'raw' format explicitly to remove the restrictions.
