[Qemu-devel] qemu bug? |

I'm using Gentoo Linux as a qemu-host. I started with FreeBSD as a qemu-guest
and I'm trying all of the x86-BSDs in qemu. I have run into a problem with
DragonFlyBSD.org. Qemu, or maybe the host Linux OS, appears to be corrupting
the guest-OS BSD filesystem. This prevents the guest-OS from completing a "make
buildworld". I tried installing several different versions of DragonFlyBSD from
their live-cd archive but none of them will build the kernel. Strangely, all
installations consistently break the build at the same place in the source code.
I don't think the problem is in DragonFlyBSD because when I install the exact
same version of the OS onto a real harddisk on the same system, everything
installs fine and "make buildworld" and "make installworld" work perfectly.
Is there any way I can track down what is wrong? Any help or suggestions would
be great.
