Hi,

The attached Proll image can be used to test Qemu (latest CVS) Sparc32 SMP support. Example: $ qemu-system-sparc -L ~/proll -kernel ~/vmlinuz-2.2.17-14smp -append "console=prom -p" -nographic -smp 4

And then the kernel hangs.

At register level, Sun4m architecture supports up to 16 CPUs, but Linux limits the number to 4. I guess that's the hardware limit on real machines.
