Only armeb-user, sparc-user, mips-user and mipsel-user fail to build.
If you don't need those targets, try:
./configure --prefix=/usr --cc=gcc-3.4
--target-list=i386-user,arm-user,ppc-user,i386-softmmu,ppc-softmmu,sparc-softmmu,x86_64-softmmu,mips-softmmu,arm-softmmu
