Is it worth it?Where can I download or purchase a copy of SunOS 4.1.4 to try this out? I have Kernel source code (It's labeled Solaris 1.1.2) but don't actually have an .iso for it.
Probably depends on what you want to do - nowadays Solaris 8 is often the oldest supported version for software - I'd guess that to be SunOS 5.8?
Once sparc64 emulation is complete enough the OpenSolaris kernel source could be used, in case you were thinking of using it for debugging.
