This is with kernel 2.6.28.2. kqemu-1.3.0pre11 seems to compile OK with
the kernel.  Any ideas?

kqemu is unsupported and unmaintained.
Ouhm. Why's that? Give that the vast majority of CPUs in use still don't
have hardware virtualization, ...

That said kqemu builds for me and works for me.
