[Qemu-devel] arm versatile linux kernel .config for qemu?

Could someone point me to Linux kernel configuration that is good for
booting ARM Linux in QEMU? I've tried building one myself with these
instructions:

http://www.nas-central.org/wiki/Setting_up_the_codesourcery_toolchain_for_X86_to_ARM9_cross_compiling
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Architectures/ARM/HowToQemu#Setup_Kernel_Image

However, the resulting kernel does not show anything in QEMU console. In
CTRL-ALT-3 I can see serial0 console with 'Uncompressiong Linux ...
done, booting kernel." and in CTRL-ALT-4 I can see "parallel0 console"
but that is all I get.
