Try:
boot cd: conf=cd:,\ppc\ppc64\yaboot.conf
To set correctly the bootarg "conf" to the path of yaboot.conf.
But I don't know if ppc64 works, try instead:
boot cd: conf=cd:,\ppc\ppc32\yaboot.conf
with qemu-system-ppc
