Hi, thanks for your suggestion. http://qemu.weilnetz.de/icon/ shows several color variations and uses a red/blue favicon for the web page. I'll split my patch in a technical part (code, Makefile) and a separate icon part (this second patch will be delayed until I get more feedback - or maybe someone else wants to create another icon).
