Correction:
To subscribe to the mailing list just send a blank email to:

You will be given the option to join the mailing list only.

Sorry for the confusion.

You know, it's possible to actually talk to people instead of going off and
declaring that there's "lack of interest from the maintainers".

qemu-users predates my involvement with QEMU. Since it was never set up
properly, it's in a fubar state right now on Savannah. About the only thing I
can do is delete it and start over but deleting requires human intervention on
the part of Savannah admins.

Instead of waiting for qemu-users to go away in order to recreate it, I decided
to just create a qemu-discuss list.

That list is now open. See

Do you already know when you expect qemu-users to be available?

Due to lack of interest from the maintainers of this project, I have
decided to setup an unofficial mailing list for qemu users.

Description: This unofficial mailing list is a place for users of
QEMU, a processor emulator that relies on dynamic binary translation
to achieve a reasonable speed while being easy to port on new host CPU
architectures.

Also welcome are kvm and qemu-kvm users. If your question is specific
to kvm, please prepend a relevant tag [kvm] or [qemu-kvm] to the
subject.

It is also a good idea to specify the host and guest architecture and
the qemu version in the body of your message.

This yahoo group can be used as either a web forum or a pure mailing list.

To subscribe to the mailing list just send a blank email to:
address@hidden
You will be given the option to join the mailing list only.

To use it as web forum go to:
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/qemu-users/
and click "Join this group".
