  Compile howto needs an "s" on "thread" ---> "threads"

  configure --cross-prefix=i586-mingw32msvc- [--extra-cflags=-mthread]

  SHOULD BE:

  configure --cross-prefix=i586-mingw32msvc- [--extra-cflags=-mthreads]
